The H120 from VARIO is a 1050 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with turbine or electric propulsion. Eurocopter is the creator of the man-carrying version and Airbus Helicopters produces this helicopter. The EC 120 (H 120) is a large model made more impressive by its specially developed dome mechanics which leave the builder all the required space to build a full scale cockpit. The pre-welded landing skids and luggage door are exactly the same as the full size version. The fuselage was developed with 3-D data that was offered to Vario by Airbus Helicopters.

For VARIO's 1050 EC120 we recommend a maximum main rotor speed of 880 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already tuned to this head speed.

The H120 fuselage kit for the Pro 5000 turbine can be ordered with Ord.No. 1200.

The turbine version fascinates by the smell of kerosene, a gently starting rotor, accompanied by the unmistakable sound of a turbine. Until the electrical power revolution in radio controlled model construction, turbines were the most powerful drives. In terms of flight times, turbines are still superior to electro-flight.

Electric Mechanics 121/22

Our propulsion recommendation for this helicopter! Contemporary mechanics, especially designed for the scale model electric flight. The edged side plates make mounting easy. The mechanics is particularly torsion-resistant. This mechanics is suitable for fuselage kit Ord.No. 1200.

Electric motors are quiet, low in vibration, without exhaust gases and residual thrust. The blade slap noise sound of the rotor blades is more noticeable than with other types of propulsion and the result is a true-to-life impression in flight. For this electromechanical system we offer a drive set for 12S LiPos.
